The target of this thesis was to create a brand manual for Elämyspuu Oy. The uniform visual appearance reinforces the visibility of the Elämyspuu Oy in the Turku region. The purpose of Elämyspuu is to build a brand that stands out from its competitors not only in content but also visually in everything that Elämyspuu does.

The thesis was commissioned by Elämyspuu Oy, a wellness company in Turku. Services of Elämyspuu includes various workshops, wellness lectures and courses, yoga and sound bowl relaxation. Elämyspuu offers its customers tools for their own well-being and community well-being. The company was founded in 2019.

During the thesis, brand manuals and graphic guidelines were studied. Research methods included document analysis, benchmarking, observation, interview and inquiry. The core issues of the brand manual were determined by interviewing the client. Customer personas and service paths were created based on the inquiry. Moodboards were used to design typography, colors and images. Based on the research, the work on the content of the brand manual was started. After updating the logo and creating visual elements, the branding manual was compiled. The branding manual was then visualized using Elämyspuu’s colors and typography.

The result was a brand manual and graphic manual. Elämyspuu’s brand manual will serve as a practical tool for managing the visual appearance both internally and with external stakeholders. It is easy to approach and clear tool that supports and inspires communication. The brand manual helps the Elämyspuu´s brand to stay consistent, which helps with marketing and creates awareness. A unified brand attracts the target audience and stands out from other similar companies.
