Today we live in a digital world. Digital financial management is constantly evolving. Electronic financial management aims to organize the operations so that manual work is minimized. This thesis gives the reader and the new worker an idea of the purchase ledger and how it has been treated before and now.

The purpose of this thesis was to produce an introductory video for the Turku Orthodox Church for a new worker. Turku Orthodox Church it is a small business with about 3,100 members. Of the employees, 3 are permanent and about 12 are hourly and part-time workers. The aim was to familiarize the new worker with the use of purchase ledger. The introduction was conducted as a video to find information and illustrate how to obtain purchase invoices and how to use the electronic system.

In the written part the concept of digital financial management and its development in Finland is discussed. In addition, the concept of purchase invoice process and processing, as well as familiarization in general are discussed.

Digital financial management is constantly evolving and most purchase invoices have been converted to e-invoicing. Manual work tasks include the ability to spend. There are several benefits to transferring your familiarization from oral to video. Later in the video the familiarization will surely be the same for every familiarized person again and again.
