In this thesis commissioned by Corrector Oy, a roof repair and a modification of eaves were designed for a housing company. The thesis reviews the work stages of the building design in a repair project.

The subject of the thesis was a housing company completed in 1981–1982 in Espoo. The roofing of the buildings of the housing company had reached the end of their service life. In the project a building permit was applied for a change in the façade due to the modifications of the eaves. Without the planned repair, the attic and the wall structures would have continued to be damaged. The design work was based on the customer's needs.

As the result of the work, the master drawings for the building permit and the tender drawings were created. In addition to these, the tender documents were created, including all the commercial and technical documents that were needed to tender the contract.
