Tämä opinnäytetyö oli kehityshanke, jonka tavoitteena oli kartoittaa ja kuvata Varkauden kauppakamariosaston keskeisimmät työtehtävät, sekä tehdä niihin selkeä työohjeistus.

Työssä Varkauden kauppakamariosaston työtehtävät avattiin päivittäiselle toimintatasolleen ja työohjeistus tehtiin vakiintuneiden työtapojen pohjalta Keskuskauppakamarin toimittamia yleisohjeistuksia sekä kauppakamarilakia (878/2002) noudattaen. Kuvatut työtehtävät eivät käsittäneet kauppakamariosaston hallintoa tai hallitustoimintaa, ainoastaan palveluyksikön (Konjunktuuri Oy) päivittäisiä työtehtäviä.

Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantaja oli Konjunktuuri Oy, jonka toimitusjohtaja Anne Pääkkönen toimii Varkauden kauppakamariosaston asiamiehenä Heinävesi-Joroinen-Leppävirta-Varkaus -alueella.

Opinnäytetyön teoreettinen viitekehys käsittelee Kauppakamarijärjestöä sekä kirjallisten työohjeiden merkitystä päivittäisten työtehtävien tukena ja hiljaisen tiedon merkitystä työyhteisössä. Empiirinen osuus käsittelee Varkauden kauppakamariosastoa, sen toimenkuvaa ja työtehtäviä sekä työohjeiden tekoprosessia.

This thesis is a development project that aims to compile work instructions for the Varkaus Chamber of Commerce by surveying and describing the main work assignments.

In this thesis, the work assignments of the Varkaus Chamber of Commerce are unwrapped into their daily level and the work instructions are compiled following the solidified working methods, the general instructions provided by the Finland Central Chamber Of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce law (878/2002). The described work assignments do not include the management or board operations of the Chamber of Commerce, only the daily work assignments of the service unit (Konjunktuuri Oy).

The executive organisation of this thesis is Konjunktuuri Oy, the Managing Director of which, Anne Pääkkönen, operates as an attorney of Varkaus Chamber of Commerce in Heinävesi-Joroinen-Leppävirta-Varkaus -area.

The theoretical context of this thesis consists the Chamber of Commerce organisation and the supporting role of textual working instructions during daily work assignments and the meaning of the tacit knowledge in the work society. The empirical context consists the Varkaus Chamber of Commerce; job description and work assignments and also the work process of making the working instructions.
