I mitt examensarbete undersöker jag regissörens roll och arbete under en teaterproduktion samt utvärderar min egen prestation och mina framsteg som regissör under mitt konstnärliga slutarbete. Jag baserar min undersökning på mina tidigare erfarenheter av regi, min egen processdagbok under skapandet av föreställningen "Ruby Moon" samt på basen av facklitterära källor. Resultatet är inte en samling skrivna regler för hur en regissör skall arbeta för bästa möjliga resultat utan däremot en hjälpande hand för eventuellt blivande regissörer och de som är intresserade av regi.

This Bachelor Thesis presents the author's own examination of the role and work as an director during a production of a play. The author also examinates her own progress as a director during the process of her own final artistic work. This Bachelor Thesis is mostly based upon the author's personal experiences in the field of directing but also made through the study of literature. The conclusion is not a collection of decided rules that say how to act and work as a director for best possible results. The author however hopes that this thesis will inspire and help aspiring directors and those interested in directing.
