Min resa med Fantomen : En receptionsanalys av studiematerialet till Wasa Teaters pjäs Fantomens lillasyster

The bachelor thesis deals with drama education, audience development and bullying. The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the audience development program, for Wasa Teater’s play Fantomens lillasyster, affected the students' perception of bullying and harassments. The target group for the audience development program was elementary school, grades 7-9 and secondary level students. The audience development program consists of study material. The material supplied teachers the opportunity to process the theme of the play together with their class using study material, before and after the play. The study consists of facts about bullying, bullying prevention exercises as well as parental material.

The students were asked to fill in a questionnaire. The results show that most students feel that their understanding of bullying and harassment was affected by the audience development program. Furthermore, the results show that students consider drama teaching practices to have a positive effect on bullying prevention. The conclusion is that the audience work achieved the goals set, and that drama pedagogy is useful as an educational tool.
