The aim of the thesis was to outline the importance and coverage of hunting as part of nature tourism. The end result, is the product card, has been prepared from the customer's point of view. The client is Metsäkolo, which acts as a pro fessional tour operator in nature tourism. The company needed information on hunting in general and on factors that could affect the inclusion of a hunting ser vice product in its range.

The commercialization of hunting tourism is not very simple in Finnish conditions. In northern Finland, there is a free hunting right for those living here on state lands, which significantly affects people's attitudes and attitudes in exercising this right in business. The current issue in this regard is the restriction of hunting in nature reserves, which is justified by ensuring safety.

The output of the work is a product card, which shows, by way of example, the content of a small-day hunting trip. The result is based on interviews with customer group mapping, research on how other tourism companies operating in the field implement hunting tourism as a product, and partly on their own experience of hunting in practice.

The large-scale commercialization of hunting tourism is not on a socially sustain able basis. Instead, the so-called a tourism package between friends, in which experientialism and interaction as a key factor is a more desirable way for all involved.
