Basic Services Aava does not have a common work rehabilitation model and procedures are different in different municipalities. The starting point of this development project was to respond to this need. The aim of the development project was to develop a unifield rehabilitation model for the adult social work of Basic Services Aava. The purpose of the development project was to make work rehabilitation more coherent, functional and effective.

In the development project BIKVA-evaluation model was used in the evaluation of the rehabilitation process in Aava. Customers, employees and managers were interviewed in group interviews. Customers group interviews were held in four activity centers, in which the rehabilitation work clients participated. The employees group interviews were held for social counselors in the social welfare office and activity center. The employees managers participated in the managers group interviews. The group interviews material and the law of rehabilitation work were the basis of the development of work rehabilitation model. Customers, employees and managers commented on the model before the final recording.

The development project developed the work rehabilitation model together with customers, employees and managers. The organization will take the model introduced into use in 2015. The work rehabilitation model describes the customer path in adult social work from the beginning until the end. The work of rehabilitation model included customers identification, service guidance, activation plan and rehabilitative work. The work rehabilitation model is a tool for employees, which standardize the work in the organization.
