The topic of my thesis is to produce a pop-up styled, corrugated cardboard solution in cooperation with Stora Enso. The product needs to be easily portable and it should not require any tools for assembling and unloading. In the thesis I study the qualities and suitability of cardboard in furniture solutions and how durable joints and structures are made. In addition, I analyze and present the existing exhibition desks made of corrugated cardboard and other materials. The end result is a sustainable, functional exhibition desk that adapts Stora Enso's own design language and brand. My work consists of four sections: 1. presentation and background research 2. material research 3. product design based on the material research 4. producing of the final product
