A peer support group model for children whose parent suffers from multi-ple sclerosis (or MS) was designed during this project. The development project was carried out in collaboration with the Neuroliitto. Neuroliitto shares information with MS and advises and supports both the patient and their loved ones. Project aims to create a functional model of a peer support group for children whose parent suffers from multiple sclerosis. Activities designed to help children understand a parent with MS as a disease. The peer support group can help children when their parents suffer from chronic disease. The selected research method was action research. The development work was directed by the existing Vertti- operation, which was modified in the project. The development work studied the specific features of MS, the pattern information will be considered. Data collection was done through interviews and helped develop the Peer Visit. The in-terviewees were parents with MS and their spouses. The spouses’ inter-view was arranged by Neuroliiton online debate. Improving peer visit was made in Lahti congregation of children's grief group. Peer Group model consisted of an existing model used for the operation in which the specific features of MS were taken into account. The model is divided into information about MS disease using children's own expe-riences. The children told their parents their experiences of the illness. At the same time children received information on the causes of the disease and its symptoms. Children also dealt with the feelings that a parent’s di-sease raised in them. The operating model was not realized in practice, because of the lack of participants.
