Megatrends anticipate gathering tensions among people. The inequality and individualism are increasing and ecological sustainablity is dividing opions. It is important to stregthen sense of community, mutual discussion as well as maintain strong interaction. Design plays a key role in an evolving society. In community art the activities are equal, inclusive and responsible.

In my thesis I have studied how to combine community artwork with space. The result was a combination of work of art and space that was communal, forward-looking and in which everyone is able to participate. The circular economy was also taken into account in the design of the community artwork.
