The working life partner organization of this thesis was early childhood education in Hyvinkää. The objective was to create a model, which enhances accessibility and interaction of early childhood education learning environment. The other aim was to gather evaluation of the Yhdessä esteetön -project. The purpose of this development project was to support development the learning environment in early childhood education with this model.

The structured model was created as a developmental project during 2019 following action research approach. Data collection methods consisted of group interviews, SWOT-analysis and learning café. The group interviews informants were early childhood education teachers. Developing morning session was arranged to the daycarecenter leaders and they were talked about development structures in work and striking the roots for development results. In this session utilized learning café and SWOT-analysis. Other data collection methods were observation, meetings and the researcher’s diary. Material was analysed with content analysis.

The structured model was created by using research material and theoretical material. Based on the research part the supported factors in development were an everydaylife based work, positive attitude toward development, active conversation culture, data transfer policy and operability of planning policy. The factors, which make the development more difficult were time resources, weakness of pedagogical leadership, changing of employees and lack of resources and motivation.

Developing early childhood education environment towards accessibility and interac-tion should be done through systematical and goal-directed work in the work community and by utilizing the multiprofessional collaboration. Developing education environment towards accessibility and interaction enhancing increases children´s participation as a equal human beings, relieves involvement and interaction in the childrens´ group. The daycare center leader´s role is to inspire and motivate the employees in the development work. She/he has to manage the whole development project and provide structures for development.
