The aim of the thesis was to make a cajón playing guide for beginners. The guide introduces the history, structure, ergonomics, playing technique and playing methods of the instrument. In addition, the guide provides tips for purchasing the cajón.

The history section describes the origin of the instrument and the material from which the first instruments were made. In addition, it is explained how the instrument spread around the world and how the instrument has structurally evolved over time.

A major part of this thesis deals with the playing technique and the different ways in which cajón is played. With the right ergonomics and dialing technique, the risk of injury is prevented.

Various cajónes were collected in the table for acquisition. The table shows the manufacturer of the cajón, the building material, the price and the type of the cajón. In addition, the table provides a link for both listening to and purchasing the product.
