Thesis is a developmental project in which support material was created for Young confirmed volunteers (YCV) training and confirmation training of the Lohja parish. It is in printable digital form, a PDF-file and contains information and tips for group leaders, about their different tasks and how to act as a leader, how to plan and implement activities and devotional moments.

The purpose of the thesis is to create, using a co-development method with YCVs, a guide based on the YCV training in the Lohja parish. The aim is to produce permanent material that the Lohja parish can further refine and develop as the YCV training progresses.

The background of the work involved exploring the history and current situation of YCV activity and confirmation training, as well as the structure of YCV activity in the Lohja parish. The strengths of YCV training in different parishes were investigated through a survey in which YCVs responded based on their own experiences. The survey provided us with guidance on which parishes' materials we wanted to utilize in our product.

The completed product has already been applied as the basis for YCV training. Positive feedback has been received, particularly regarding the product's readability, usability, and appearance. Employees conducting YCV training based on the product have also found the material useful in planning and guiding YCV training sessions.

YCV activity is an important resource for the parish. Supporting YCVs, participatory development of YCV activity, and keeping YCV training themes current are crucial aspects for the future of YCV activity.
