Refleksiivinen kontrolli : systemaattinen kirjallisuuskatsaus

Reflexive control is a model to influence an opponent's decision-making system developed in the Soviet Union that the Russian Federation still uses. Reflexive control can be employed both in military and political contexts. Russia has been utilising reflexive control as a part of its military and political influence operations until recent years and continues to develop the model further. This study aimed to collect and analyse research about reflexive control published in English and Finnish to create an understanding concerning the state and extent of the mentioned research. The research method was a systematic literature review. The study involved a wide-ranging and systematic database search that provided the research material. The material was analysed to ensure its suitability for the research aim. The final material was divided into thematic groups that answered the research aim. The study's results were eight main themes that provided the context in which the key findings of the current reflexive control research were presented in a structured manner. The results offered a synthesis of the current research. Based on the results, it can be argued that reflexive control has been a relatively little researched topic in English and Finnish academic contexts. Understanding concerning reflexive control is mainly based on the works of a few key researchers, who produced their works already years, or even decades, ago.
