The textile industry is one of the most polluting industries in the world with several negative environmental and social impacts. Linen is a very old material, but its production has gradually reduced significantly in favour of more profitable materials. We talked to Leena Pesu, the CEO of Linen Stories, whose goal is to reintroduce the production of linen in Finland. She also advocates for the production of local natural fibers through non-profit Fibershed Finland. Tune in to find out more about reviving linen production in Finland.
