A ship portrait of the steamship Bore/Bore I. The passenger ship was built in Helsingør, Denmark, in 1898. Initially in 1898–1901 its name was Bore, after which it was renamed Bore I.

The painting portrays the vessel in the colours of the company Ångfartygs Ab Bore based in Turku, Finland. The company was the ship’s owner in 1899–1916 and 1927–1961. Oil painting on canvas by Victor Westerholm.
