Why should anyone use animation as an form of expression? It takes time and effort to animate, where is the power of animation? Thesis is asking questions in the area of art, expression and emotion. At the same time it wonders the relevance and meaningfullness of all this. Thesis is aimed to understand subjects that were not considered during education. Such as self-expression. In the end, this thesis is a manual for animator written to its writer. Work is collecting essentials from the world of animation. It gives its writer a chance to ponder motivation, why he is doing things in a certain way. During thesis it is understood that the viewer understands a work through his own experiences. In the end, the interpretation cannot be influenced by the animator. Animation is essentially about motion. Controlling motion is the key for good animation.
