The aim of this thesis was to get acquainted with new Ouman Plus Home Automation System. The focus of study was to clarify if there would be possibilities to develop Ouman Plus instructions for electric engineering and to create potential improvements. Making thesis in relation to theme affected significantly to pilot episode of new product because planning, assembling and deployment of first real Ouman Plus Home Automation System in the world belonged as part to the project. Experiences received by working in field were base for describing system’s operations and features which are reported at the last part of this creation. In this thesis there is also a brief overview concerning to the systems developed by Ouman Ltd’s main competitors in Finland. Anyway proper comparison among the systems has not been done. Plus Tool is a planning program especially for house electric engineers. By the aid of the program many things concerning to Ouman Plus Home Automation System planning should be succeed. Clear cabling instructions together with wiring diagrams and pre-priced devices produced automatically according to plan make planning easy and meaningful. Being as a participant in Plus Tool R&D group enabled to do the instructions for electric engineering in a new manner.
