The purpose of this final project was to make an electric measurement record. The aim was that the Excel table would alarm if the value was not within the tolerance. Furthermore, the quality of production was also to be investigated. This was executed by histograms and xR-cards. It was also required to store the measurement data in the computer storage.

Firstly, literature on quality control and many standards were studied. Later, an Excel table was made. After that, the next step was testing. Consequently, data was entered in the Excel table. Then, the results were analyzed. The tests gave a desired result.

As a result of this thesis the company received a tool for monitoring the quality, which could help to improve the quality of production. Moreover, as a consequence of the thesis, this should result in vast savings and lower wastage. In a nutshell, this would benefit the company´s operating profit. Due to the fact that the new Excel table will be taken into use, it can therefore be concluded that the project was successful.
