The aim of this thesis was to get acquainted with maintenance, the creation of a maintenance system and periodic maintenance in general. The purpose was also to examine aircraft maintenance as well as the analytical methods for creating a periodic maintenance program in more detail.

The maintenance and service systems were studied in general. By using the material received from the client, the MSG-3 and RCM-analysis methods were studied in more detail.
