The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is to create a treasurer’s manual for Voimistelu- ja Urheiluseura Kellon Lyönti ry. Treasurer’s manual is primarily made for the Kellon Lyönti mens representative team’s treasurer but the manual is also suitable for other team’s treasurers in the club. The purpose of the manual is to ease treasurer’s tasks. Voimistelu- ja urheiluseura Kellon Lyönti is a sport club from Oulu. Nowadays Kellon Lyönti is focused on floorball.

Treasurer’s manual includes a description of treauser’s tasks and clear instructions of how to do every task. The manual is written in a form that is easy to read and understand. Therefore treasurer beginners do not necessarily have to have earlier knowledge of management of finance.

The essential subjects of the bachelor’s thesis are associations rules, how the adminstration is formed and the management of finance of the association. The theory of this thesis is written from sports club perspectice because the mandator of this thesis is a sport club. The theory is based on essential laws and decrees for example associations law, accounting law and accounting decree. Literature of associations and accounting are also used in the theory section.

The finished manual is also available in electric form. In this way it is easily reached by everyone. Electric form gives possibility to update and develope the manual afterwards. The mandator was satisfied with the results of this bachelor’s thesis. They especially liked the outfit and clearly written content of the thesis.
