Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli vertailla ja kartoittaa luottotietoyhtiöiden tarjoamia palveluita Onninen Oy:lle. Työssä tutustuttiin luottotietoyhtiöiden tarjoamiin luottotieto-, valvonta- ja kohderyhmäpalveluihin. Työ tehtiin haastatellen Onnisen henkilöstöä, tutustumalla luotonhallinnan teoriaan kirjalähtein sekä perehtymällä luottotietoyhtiöihin ja niiden tuottamiin palveluihin.

Opinnäytetyö koostuu kolmesta osuudesta: teoriaosuudesta, luottotietoyhtiöiden esittelystä ja yhteenvedosta. Teoriaosuudessa käsitellään luotonhallinnan keskeisimpiä käsitteitä. Toinen osuus pureutuu luottotietoyhtiöiden palvelutarjontaan. Kolmannessa osuudessa vedetään yhteen työn aikana suoritettujen haastatteluiden tärkeimpiä asioita sekä kerrotaan työn keskeisimmät tulokset.

Opinnäytetyössä löydettiin luottotietoyhtiöiden tärkeimmät palvelut Onniselle. Työssä käsitellään myös mahdollisten uusien palveluiden käyttöönottamisessa olevia hyötyjä sekä ongelmakohtia.

The purpose of this study was to compare and survey credit information company services for Onninen. Onninen is a wholesaler of building supplies. The study included credit information, supervision and target audience services provided by credit bureaus.

The work was done by interviewing Onninen's staff, by studying the theory of credit management, by familiarizing with credit information companies and their services.

The thesis consists of three parts: the theoretical part, the presentation of the credit information companies and the summary. The theoretical part deals with the most important concepts of credit management. The second part deals with the services offered by credit bureaus. The third part brings together the most important issues of the interviews conducted during the work and explains the most important results of the work.

In the thesis, the most important services of credit information companies were found for Onninen. The thesis also deals with the benefits and problem areas of introducing potential new services.
