The subject of this Bachelor’s thesis is to improve marketing communications for Comms. Guiding Services. Comms. Guiding Services is a new service and operates in Laurea University of Applied Sciences. The purpose of the service is to give guidance for students and personnel in marketing and communications related matters. The object of this thesis was to improve Comms. Guiding Service’s marketing communications by creating a plan.

This thesis gets acquainted with marketing communication and its processes through literal and electronic sources. The experiences of the interns that were working in the Comms. Guid-ing Services have been exploited when conducting the marketing communications plan. The ideas for marketing communications have been scouted from current articles, Internet sources and literature.

The methods that have been used in this functional thesis are case study, theme interviews and SWOT-analysis. The object of this thesis was met and the result was a marketing commu-nications plan for the guiding service that includes of examples about how to conduct decent marketing communications. The plan is meant to be further developed and enforced when Comms. Guiding Services actions are stabilized.
