Opinnäytetyö 28032008 -Luovan työn merkitys epävarmuuden kohtaamisessa koostuu kymmenen valokuvan sarjasta ja kirjallisesta raportista. Valokuvat ovat syntyneet äitiyden kokemusten pohjalta, joista opinnäytetyön kannalta ovat tärkeimpinä näyttäytyneet menetyksen pelon kokemukset. Uutiset ovat toimineet negatiivisen emootion herättäjinä. Valokuvasarja on vastareaktio ympäristön aiheuttamalle uhan tunteelle. Kirjallisen osuuden lähestymistapa on henkilökohtainen. Yleisemmällä tasolla pohditaan ihmisen toimintaa ympäristössänsä ja ympäristön haltuun ottoa epämiellyttäviksi koettujen asioiden äärellä. Tässä liitetään mukaan luovan työskentelyn ja taiteen tehtävät ihmisen ympäristön muokkaajina. Näkemyksiä ovat tukemassa filosofia ja neuropsykologia, jotka konkretisoivat taiteellisen toiminnan tarpeellisuutta arkisella kielellä. Opinnäytetyö 28032008 ei pyri tarkkaan loppupäätelmään, vaan taiteellisen toiminnan ymmärtämiseen yllämainituissa lähtökohdissa.

Graduation project 28032008 -The meaning of creative work in facing insecurity is a serie of ten photographs and a written report. Primary interests to create this photoserie have been the experience of motherhood. Pictures are reactions to the fear of bereavement and loss. Journalistic reports have raised these negative emotions that have turned out to be threatening. Textual report guides to the personal deliberations. Generally, it has been tried to understand human actions and reactions when feeling apprehension and the fear of death by fronting new subjects in the surrounding environment. Two main themes to perceive this are philosophy and neuropsychology. With these tools it has been tried to concretize the need of creative work and arts to adapt our environment into more convenient. Graduation project 28032008 does not try to make final conclutions, but to understand the need of creative work from these starting points.
