I made two pocket watches as my scholar thesis. I used the sentence "Time flies when you're having fun/ Time's fun when you're having flies" as the basis of the designing process. I used ready made battery clockworks and made the watch-cases out of silver. I used fotoetching and hammering for producing the surface structures. I had all the hands made in The Finnish School of Watchmaking in Tapiola. I got oriented in pocket and other kinds of watches in history and today, rush, and the meanings of time display.
