This practice-based Bachelor’s thesis consisted of compiling a code of conduct for crisis work and first aid in Kiipula vocational school. The planning and implementation of the instruction pamphlets was conducted in close cooperation with Kiipula.

The aim of the designed instruction pamphlets is to increase the professional skills and readiness of Kiipula staff to work in various crisis situations as well as to improve their first aid skills. Current theories of crisis intervention and first aid were taken into account when designing the pamphlets and compiling the first aid guidelines.

The instruction pamphlets shall be distributed to every unit of the Kiipula Foundation and they will be introduced to the staff.
