Kokoelma ei sisällä The Beatles -yhtyeen esityksiä tai sävellyksiä, vaan "alkuperäislevytyksiä" lauluista, joita The Beatles soitti yhtyeen harjoitellessa 30.1.1969 pitämäänsä Twickenhamin "kattokonserttia" varten tammikuussa 1969 Lontoossa. (Kyseisistä studiosessioista koottiin myöhemmin albumi Let it be ja Michael Lindsay-Hoggin ohjaama dokumenttielokuva Let it be. Lindsay-Hoggin kuvausmateriaalin ääninauhoja on julkaistu lukuisia kertoja eri bootleg-äänitteillä, mm. Yellow Dog Recordsin 38-osaisena Day by day -sarjana vuonna 2000). - Liitteessä lyhyt selostus studiopäivien tapahtumista päivästä päivään (2.-30.1.1969). - Raidat julkaistu alunperin 1917-1958 |
