The purpose of this thesis is to create a factory production control system (FPC) for a company working in metal technology. FPC conforms to standard SFS-EN 1090-1. Approved FPC-manual gives the manufacturer a right to place a CE marking on its products. CE marking became compulsory to steel structures since 1st July 2014. In this thesis, operations of client, along with standards SFS-EN 1090-1, SFS-EN 1090-2 and SFS-EN ISO 3834 were studied. Based on the research performed, necessary information and requirements were described and FPC-manual was created. The research from this thesis provides invaluable information for the manufacturer to produce steel structures and sell them in European markets. Operations and acts of client were studied by being a part of the company’s daily work. Literal rules and methods of operations for the necessary demands were created by the result of this research. The literature review and state-of-the art is obtained both from internet and handbooks. The result of this thesis was; an approved FPC-manual and operation according to an inspection institution Kiwa Inspecta. Following to the manual, a CE marking on manufactured products is now possible. Because of a business secret FPC-manual is not published within this thesis.
