Englannin ja ruotsin lähtötasotestit on tuotettu Opetushallituksen rahoittamassa Osaajaksi - alla kan! -hankkeessa. Testeillä kartoitetaan ammatillisessa koulutuksessa opiskelevien kielitaitoa ja -tasoa, jotta yhteisten tutkinnon osien engalnnin ja ruotsin opintojaksoilla pystyttäisiin antamaan kohdennetusti tukea juuri sitä erityisesti tarvitseville.
